Aggression and violence definition
Aggression and violence in the workplace refer to any form of physical, verbal or psychological behaviour that is threatening, violent or harmful to employees in their work environment. It includes acts in which a person attacks, threatens, intimidates, or harms others.
Aggression and violence in the workplace can range from verbal threats, insults or demeaning comments to physical confrontations, such as pushing, hitting or attacking. It can also take psychological forms, such as abuse of power, manipulation or systematic intimidating of colleagues.
